CARA Brazzaville will frustrate Asante Kotoko in Congo, says George Afriyie

Ghana Football Association vice president George Afriyie has revealed that Asante Kotoko will have a torrid time in Congo when they face CARA Brazzaville in the second leg of the Caf Confederation Cup preliminary round on Wednesday.

“From what I saw in Kumasi, CARA Brazzaville will definitely do whatever within their means to frustrate Kotoko in pick qualification. They did same thing to the Black Stars when we met them in Brazzaville ahead of the Fifa World Cup qualifiers last year,” he added.

Martin Lebalnd Mokete has been appointed by Caf to officiate the game. Countrymen Souru Phatsoane and Amadou Ngom will assist him while Osiase William Koto plays the role as fourth referee.

The legal battle between Ghana Football Association and Great Olympics over an alleged unfair treatment has been adjourned to February 21 by Accra High Court, AshesGyamera can confirm.

The 2017-18 Ghana Premier League was expected to kickoff on February 11 but it will likely start late in March following the current legal tussle.
