Ghana suffered a 3-0 humiliating results against Algeria in an international friendly ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations holding in Cameroon next week.
Napoli winger Adam Ounas gave Algeria the lead by the eighth minute after he dribbled past defender Gideon Mensah before unleashing a powerful shot to beat goalkeeper Manaf.
Although, the Black Stars had few half chances after going down, they failed to make them count.
After the break, Columbus Crew captain Jonathan Mensah turned in a shot into his own net to double Algeria’s advantage by the 74th minute.
Things moved from bad to worse five minutes later after Islam Slamani added another goal following a terrible mistake by substitute goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi.
Ghana will leave Doha, Qatar on Friday with a chartered flight to Cameroon.
They will play Morocco on Monday in the first gale of the tournament before they face Gabon four days later and Comoros in the final game of the group.
