The country’s football governing body chief has hinted that Otto Addo’s contractual agreement will be finalized very soon
Ghana Football Association general secretary Prosper Harrison Addo has insisted that plans are underway to concluded talks with Borussia Dortmund and confirm Otto Addo as the new Black Stars coach.
Addo was appointed as the interim coach in February following the country’s decision to part ways with Serbian coach Milovan Rajevic after a shambolic performance at 2021 Africa Cup of Nations held in Cameroon.
Addo led the Black Stars to defeat Nigeria in the 2022 Fifa World Cup playoff and he has revealed to once again be in the dug out during the mundial.
“We are still in talks with Dortmund and I can assure you that Otto Addo will be confirmed as the black stars coach very soon,” Prosper Harrison Addo told Starr FM in an interview.
Ghana has been paired with Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay in Group H at the World Cup.
