Karela United new defender Abdul Yaya Raman has been tipped by pundits to make a huge impact in the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
Yaya Raman recently completed a move from lower-division side Tema XI to Kalera after signing a one-year deal.
The center-back is expected to play a key role in coach Kobby Mensah’s team as Karela hope to improve on last season’s performance.
The 19-year-old’s manager Alex Akumey believes he has no doubt he will take the league by storm.
“I have known Yaya Raman for some years now and he is one guy who is so determined and very dedicated to his work,” Akummey said.
“I have no doubt that he will be great for Karela in the coming season,” he added.
Raman is expected to make his Premier League debut on September 8 when Karela host debutants Tamale City on opening day at Crosby Awuah Memorial Stadium.
