The veteran midfielder was not happy with how he was tackled and had to express his displeasure
Hearts of Oak midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari was handed his first start in the goalless draw against Real Tamale United in Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The 37-year-old saw an improvement in his play as compared to the performance he put up against Great Olympics last weekend in the Ga Mantse derby.
However, it was in the second half of the game against RTU that Muntari rushed on on Hedir Mohammed, donning jersey number 6, following a rush tackle to vent his displeasure by the 57th minute.
Muntari initially sent in a sliding tackle on Mohammed on the halfway line very early in the second half and the RTU player also went in for a revenge.
However, Mohammed avoided any punishment from the referee despite a scissor tackle that upended the former Uefa Champions League winner in the Hearts of Oak area.
The duo later made peace as Muntari was seen smiling with him.
Muntari was later substituted by the 78th minute for Frederick Ansah Botchway and he was given a standing ovation by the Phobians traveling supporters.
Hearts now sit eighth on the Premier League log with 24 points, 12 points behind Asante Kotoko whom they will face next weekend in the Super Clash at the Accra Sports Stadium
