The Porcupine Warriors have touched down in the city of Abidjan for the make or break tie
Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have landed safely in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, for the return fixture of the Caf Confederation Cup play off against San Pedro on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors arrived with eighteen players including star striker Songne Yacouba and midfielder Augustine Okrah as they hope to make it to the group stage of the competition on two successive occasions.
However, they are expected to up their game as they head into the tie with a 1-0 advantage thanks to Naby Keita’s penalty in the first leg on Monday.
So far, AshesGyamera.com can report that there has been no intimidations or molestation by the home side as feared and Kotoko will hold their mandatory training as required by Caf tomorrow at the venue to host the game.
