The Yellow and Mauve have completed the signing of the Gunners striker after a blistering spell in Division One
Ghana Premier League giants Medeama have signed striker Kofi Ansu Patrick on a three-year deal from Division One League side Berekum Arsenal, both clubs have officially confirmed on Friday.
The 21-year-old caught the attention of Medeama scouts in the Bono and Ahafo regions following an impressive performance in Zone One of Ghana Division One League.
Although, Arsenal finished third on the log after the season, Ansu scored 14 goals and provided seven assists.
“We are delighted to announce the signing of forward Kofi Ansu Patrick from BerekumArsenal,” an official statement from Medeama read.
“He will remain in Tarkwa until 2024 after signing a three year deal,” the statement added.
Medeama had a poor season after finishing fifth in the league and were also eliminated from FA Cup in the semifinals by eventual winners Hearts of Oak.
Ansu will now have to battle Amed Toure and Opoku Agyemang for a starting role when the 2021/22 GPL season kicks off.
