The Phobians have began to fine tune in the capital city of Algeria after their shambolic performance in the acaf inter-club competitions
Ghana Premier League champions Hearts of Oak returned to training far away in Algeria after arriving in the capital city of Algiers.
The Phobians suffered a 4-0 humiliating results against JS Souara in the second leg of the Caf Confederation Cup playoffs last Sunday. The results meant that Hearts have bow out of the competition on a 4-2 aggregate scoreline.
However, despite travelling from Bechar through Oran to Algeria after the game, they are made to wait until Wednesday before they get a flight back to Ghana.
Even that, the Phobians will have to make a transit in Istanbul, Turkey on Thursday afternoon before they take another flight to Cote D’Ivoire on Friday morning.
They are expected to touch down in Ghana on Friday afternoon.
As a result, Hearts of Oak game against Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League has been postponed until further notice by Ghana Football Association.
Upon their arrival, Hearts will shift their attention to Ghana Premier League and they are expected to face Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday December 15 at the Accra Sports Stadium before they head to battle Elmina Sharks at the Nduom Sports Stadium on Sunday December 18.
Ghana Football Association is expected to communicate the dates for their games against Medeama and Asante Kotoko which were postponed due to their participation in the Cat Confederation Cup.
Head coach Samuel Boadu who is currently under intense pressure, will obviously be looking for a reaction from his players and should they fail to find their mojo back, the club may be forced to sack him and appoint a new manager.
