The Black Stars arrived in the North African country early hours of Monday ahead of the second away game in the qualifiers

Ghana’s contingent arrived in Omdurman early hours of Monday ahead of the 2020/21 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan on Tuesday.

The Black Stars are looking for their fourth win in a row which will officially confirm their participation in the next year’s continental competition as they currently sit top of Group C with nine points.

The team arrived without four players including captain Andre Ayew and goalkeeper Richard Ofori after picking an injury and being suspended due to accumulated yellow cards respectively.

Others including Kotoko goalkeeper Razak Abalora and midfielder Joseph Attamah Larweh will miss the game as the duo tested positive of Coronavirus disease at the airport.

Meanwhile, coach C.K Akonnor will have a little to worry about since midfielder Wakaso Mubarak, Majeed Ashimeru and Crystal Palace star Jeffrey Schlupp arrived in camp on time, while Legon Cities goalkeeper Fatau Dauda was handed a late call up to fill the void.

Ghana won the first leg 2-0 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium last week thanks to the individual brilliance of Andre Ayew.

In the other group game, Sao Tome and Principe will welcome South Africa in the return leg after they also lost last week.
