Publicity shy Nana Boadu, the son of Ghanaian oil billionaire and Asante Kotoko board chairman, Osikani Kwame Kyei, got married to Asantewaa Sarpong, the daughter of GNPC board chairman and former executive board chairman of Kotoko Dr. Kofi Koduah Sarpong, in an extremely oppulent wedding ceremony in Accra on Saturday, AshesGyamera.com can exclusively report.
Boadu, the executive president of Unity Airlines as well as Unity Oil Company and Real Estates, wed his fiancée in an event which was graced by politicians, billionaires and celebrity guests, including Kennedy Agyapong (Kengpong), Kwaku Frempong, among others, and also featured few selected journalists.
With the venue adorned with white roses and other decorations, the super fairytale-like ceremony was an event every young man or woman would relish to have at a point in his or her life if only there is the means.
Nana Boadu and his beautiful wife are believed to have been friends from childhood and finally decided to tie the knot after both families agreed on their decision amid the restrictions Covid-19 comes with.
The bride, Asantewaa, initially wore an locally and specially made kente dress for the traditional wedding while her husband was also seen wrapped with a well-designed Kente cloth.
It is even believed that Asantewaa had her gown for the white wedding from a special designer.
The royal attire was quite awesome and a little long that she required an assistance while walking down the aisle side by side with his father Dr. Sarpong.
There was an after party event for the new couple and the guests present where different drinks and all kinds of foods were served.
Osikani Kwame Kyei at a point was spotted having a great laugh with Dr. Sarpong as they discussed business and the general well being of their newl-joined family as well as the future of Kotoko.
Dr. Sarpong led Kotoko as the executive board chairman between 2010 and 2013 brought a lot of professionalism into the administrative structure of the club. It was during his tenure of office that Kotoko secured a mega deal with telecommunication network MTN as well as English Premier League side Sunderland.
