The Black Stars are hoping to make it two wins in two as they face Comoros in a make or break encounter

Ghana coach Chris Hughton has made changes in the squad that pipped Madagascar 1-0 in the opening game of Group I of 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium last Friday as he hopes to record another victory over Comoros this evening.

Interestingly, midfielder Kudus Mohammed has been dropped to the substitute bench due to what appeared to be injury concerns while Andre Ayew starts.

Also, defenders Daniel Amartey and Alidu Seidu will not start the game and their places will be taken by Nuhu Kasim Adams and Denis Odoi respectively.

Meanwhile, Inaki Williams who netted his debut goal for Ghana last week will lead the attack with support from Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew and Antoine Semenyo.

With Mali sharing the spoils 1-1 with Central African Republic at home while Madagascar brushed aside Chad yesterday, a win for Ghana will see the Black Stars going top of the log with six points from two games.

After this game, the next round of matches will take place in June 2024 as Cote d’Ivoire host 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in January 2024.
