A section of Ghanaians have taken to social media to express their displeasure at the Black Stars coach following his side’s defeat to South Africa
Ghana coach Charles Kwablah Akonnor has come under an intense pressure from a section of Ghanaians following the Black Stars’ 1-0 defeat to South Africa in the 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifiers on Monday.
After struggling to narrowly defeated Ethiopia last week, Akonnor’s charges displayed yet another performance in Johannesburg and some Ghanaians want him to lose his job.
Ghana, who are hoping to return to the World Cup after missing the last edition held in Russia, currently sit second in Group G with three points.
Ghana will host Zimbabwe next month in the third group game and a win is imminent.
