Baffour Soccer Academy fans beat Tamale City players & vandalize their bus

The game ended 1-1 but some of the Tamale players were allegedly beating and injured, while their team bus was vandalized by the home supporters.

The club, which is owned by Ghana’s Minister of Employment, Ignatius Baffour Awuah qualified to participate in their debut season of Ghana’s second-tier competition last year but they are hoping to avoid relegation and probably gain promotion to the Premier League next season.

They are sit five points above safety with five matches remaining.

Baffour Soccer Academy’s city rivals Nsoatreman are tied on the same points of with Tamale City in the race for Premier League qualification.
