Ghana and Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey has heaped praise on national team captain Andre Ayew following the Black Stars 1-0 victory over South Africa in 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifiers at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Sunday.
A first half penalty won by Amartey was excellently scored by Ayew who was making his 100th appearances for Ghana on international stage.
The 31-year-old made his international debut for the Black Stars in 2008 and has since risen through the ranks to become the captain.

Ayew, who currently plies his trade with Qatari giants Al Sadd, has scored 22 international goals for Ghana and played in seven Africa Cup of Nations tournaments and two Fifa World Cups.
