Controversies: Watch the goals, red card, exchange of blows as Ghana draw with Gabon

The Black Stars failed to win their second game at the Afcon and that led to a lot of controversies after the final whistle in Yaounde

Ghana’s disappointing run at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations continued as they shared the spoils 1-1 against Gabon in the second Group C game of in Yaounde, Cameroon on Friday.

The Black Stars, who were in dire need of three points had a brilliant start, thanks to Andre Ayew’s first half goal but they later went into sleeping after the break.

As a result, Gabon snatched a a late equaliser through Jim Allevinah.

Although, the Black Stars vehemently protested against the equaliser, the goal stood as the referee was adamant to their complaints.

After the final whistle, tempers were high which led to Ghana striker Benjamin Tetteh seeing red card. The lanky striker was captured ok camera hitting a Gabonese player which led to a serious chaos on the pitch.

Ghana must win the last group game against Comoros on Tuesday or else the Black Stars will exit the stage earlier than expected.
