The Black Stars will face Bafana Bafana at the famous Soccer City Sports Stadium with the hope of making it two wins out of two games after pipping Ethiopia 1-0 on Friday.

Head coach Charles Kwablah Akonnor is expected to miss some notable faces due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Therefore, he is expected to alter his squad because players who ply their trade in England and Germany cannot travel to South Africa since it has been marked red as one of the countries in Africa with serious Covid-19 cases.

Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey, Abdul Baba Rahman, Andy Yiadom and Crystal Palace duo of Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp who started the game against Ethiopia were left behind.

Also, Germany-based duo of Daniel Kofi Kyere and Braydon Manu are expected to miss the game.

This means that Akonnor will have to give chance to some of the local players called into the team like Hearts of Oak trio of goalkeeper Richard Attah, defender Fatawu Mohammed and midfielder Afriyie Barnieh.

Former Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Opoku could partner Andre Ayew upfront in the absence of Jordan Ayew.

The Black Stars currently top Group G with three points, two points above South Africa after the latter shared the spoils goalless with Zimbabwe in their opening game.
