The youngster is yet to be officially unveiled by the club but he has been initiated into the first team by his colleagues on Sunday

Asante Kotoko first team squad have officially accepted Enoch Morrison as one of the new players to join them ahead of 2022/23 season ahead of the their Pre-season tour to Turkey.

The Porcupine Warriors are currently in Accra to fine tune and complete their paperwork for the European tour as they prepare for the Premier League and Caf Champions League.

The 22-year-old will be a free agent in October since he has just two months left on his contract with King Faisal and has already began training with the Premier League champions.

“My contract with King Faisal expires in two months, but at the moment I’m training with the club. So if anything happens, I will let Ghanaians know,” Morrison said in an interview with Wontumi FM last week.

“Something like that because I would love to join Kotoko since they are a big club and any player’s dream,” he added when quizzed about his readiness to sign for Kotoko.

Morrison played 31 league games out of the total 34 for King Faisal last season and contributed nine goals.

He scored seven and assisted two as well as won two Man of the Match awards as King Faisal avoided relegation on final day following a 2-1 won over Legon Cities at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
