According to AshesGyamera‘s sources, the police stopped Shatta Wale for driving an unregistered vehicle and demanded he follows him to the next police station. However, the SM boss wanted to explain certain things regarding the vehicle to the security officer which ended up in a bizarre twist.

“It got to a point people were coming around, people don’t know the relationship I have with him so he actually used the word you these rascals and I said oh, uncle, you’re calling me rascal, that’s when I got pissed,” Shatta told Peace FM.

“I was like, let’s leave the car keys with him, he can even keep the car and drive because I love him so much.

“I don’t want the word rascal, people were coming around and I didn’t want them to hear him call me a rascal and then the next thing you see and hear, my story will be all over the media. That Policeman is no person people should get worried about because he’s my man,” he added

Shatta Wale has been nominated in the 2018 Ghana Music Awards for the first time since 2013 and he is highly rated to win the Artist of the year following hit songs like Ayoo, Takin Over, Hossana, Bulletproof, Umbrella, and Forgetti.

It was Sung-Yueng Ki who set the ball rolling on the eight minute, after he connected a pass from Andre Ayew to open the scoring for Swansea before Mike van der Hoorn added another to make it 2-0 by the 32nd minute as Sung-Yueng Ki, who scored the opener turned from a goalscorer to become a provider.

Three minutes after the break, Andy King made it 3-0 for Swansea before Jordan Ayew added another goal on 63rd minute from the spot.

West Ham finally got their consolation goal through substitute Michael Antonio, after Aaron Cresswell furnished him with the opportunity on 78th minute but they could not find another goals despite David Moyes pushing men upfront.

The country’s football governing body has finally adhered to the pressure from Ghanaians and has set a date to meet the Wonder Club on how to deal with the court injunction

Ghana Football Association has written to ‘litigants’ Great Olympics to meet them on Friday in a bid to settle the legal tussle between the two parties.

Ghana FA’s invitation letter to Great Olympics

Although, reports earlier suggested that Ghana FA were bent on playing the league this weekend, they later wrote to the 16 clubs that the opening games have been postponed until further notice in order to avoid contempt of court.

Ghana FA then met the counsel of Olympics at the Accra High Court on Thursday and, the case has been adjourned to March 15, further frustrating the football association and their sponsors in particular.

According to AshesGyamera‘s sources, the GFA organised an emergency committee meeting on Thursday to discuss the way forward of the top-flight but alleged supporters of Olympics stormed the place to bring it to an abrupt end since they believe they wanted to play smart on their club and go contrary to the law.

Ghanaians unhappy with Akufo-Addo’s promise to USA while Ghana isn’t ‘safe’- Minority says

Ghana president has attracted several backlash from a section of Ghanaians especially the Minority, after he promised one of the world’s powerhouse United States that Ghana will do everything possible to help them fight terrorism.

According to Akufo-Addo at the National Governors Association Winter 2018 meeting, his government is ready to support Donald Trump’s administration to curb terrorism but some Ghanaians in a sharp contrast has hit out at the president because they believe he hasn’t done enough at home to solve the insecurity in Ghana.

“We stand shoulder to shoulder with the US in the rejection of terrorism as a legitimate means of settling political disputes. We stand shoulder to with the United States in attempting to develop our economies to provide opportunities for its citizens,” Akufo-Addo said.

However, the Minority believes many Ghanaians have been sleeping in fear recently, especially this week, after two robbery cases were recorded in the nation’s capital with one Lebanese being shot dead in the process while the killers made away with his $45,000 which he had withdrew from the bank few minutes before the incident.

“Even our own domestic armed robberies, the number one thing that Ghanaians are crying about, runaway anarchy in the country, lawlessness in Ghana, today Ghanaians cannot sleep, Ghanaians’ security has been compromised, people are complaining all over, armed robbers are sacking and killing people all over the place, you [Akufo-Addo] have not finished that one and you are going to help America to fight terrorism,” Minority Spokesperson on Communications, A.B.A. Fuseini told the radio Class FM’s Parliamentary correspondent.

“My brother, it is enough to say that everybody can cooperate in the fight against terrorism but don’t go and tell them as if Ghana has the capacity to help them when even on our own shores, our own domestic crime is souring into the high heavens …charity begins at home, you haven’t finished with Peter, you are going to ask Paul to come and join the fight.

“Let us do our own thing first, you must first catch the mad man before talking of shaving him.”

According to reports, the deceased Lebanese was going to use to pay his workers and settle other bills and debts since the month of February had come to an end.

AshesGyamera understands that Ghana Police Service has advised Ghanaians to always seek the escort of the police whenever they’re going to cash a huge sum of money.

Great Olympics must drop injunction and accept relegation, says Dan Quaye

The Wonder Club’s former star believes they should drop all cases against the football association and reorganise themselves ahead of the new season

Former Great Olympics defender Dan Quaye has advised the club’s top hierarchy to drop all cases and injunction against Ghana Football Association so that the 2017-18 season can kickoff.

The Wonder Club placed an injunction on the top-flight for the second time in February, halting all plans to kick off the 2017-18 season, insisting that they have been unfairly treated after their cases against Bechem United and Elmina Sharks over an alleged unqualified players were thrown out by the football association’s judicial body.

According to the former Ghana international, Olympics who fighting to be reinstated in the top-flight after being relegated last season, are not organised since there are several infighting among the leadership.

“Great Olympics should accept to go and play in the Division One this season and reorganise themselves before they can think of coming back to the premier league,” Quaye told Aseda FM.

“Anyone who will tell me there is no confusion within the management of Great Olympics is a big liar. If they want to stay in the premier league and make a meaningful impact then they should stop the confusion and the troubles they are causing in Ghana,” he added.

The matchday one of the GPL was expected to kickoff this weekend with holders Aduana Stars opening it with a home game against Liberty Professionals on Friday in Dormaa Ahenkro but, it has been postponed until further notice since GFA will meet Olympics in Accra Appeals Court next week.

Osei Kofi slams ‘incompetent’ GFA officials over league delay

By: Bismark Kelly Koomsoon

Former Ghana and Asante Kotoko midfielder Rev. Osei Kofi has insisted that football in the country is currently in crises because the football association has exhausted all their plans and lacks knowledge about the growing expectations of the game.

Speaking on OTEC FM’s Royal Sports, Kofi reiterated that those in the helm of affairs lack ideas to run the game.

“This FA are not [better] football administrators. My checks tell me they don’t understand football because they don’t have any knowledge about our game” Osei Kofi said.

“We can reform our football but not under this current administration because they have no ideas about the game. They have nothing to offer again.

“We need fresh people with fresh minds to make our game better and attractive” he added.

The 2017-18 league season was supposed start this coming weekend but has been postponed indefinitely after Great Olympics served the FA with another court injunction since they believe they have been unfairly treated in their case against Bechem United and Elmina Sharks which could save them from relegation.

AshesGyamera understands that GFA and Olympics will meet at appeals court next week in Accra for a hearing before the next line of action can be taking by both parties.
