Video: ‘I’m responsible for ungrateful Michael Essien’s troubles,’ Juju man claims more will follow

The former Chelsea star had a bright future but his football career was hampered by injuries and the spiritual man claims he was behind all those problems

A spiritual man claims he is responsible for all the injuries that former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien suffered in his career.

Essien was highly rated as one of the best midfielders in the world during his peak, however, injuries took a toll from him and he couldn’t realise his dreams to the fullest.

In a video link attached to this article, A self acclaimed spiritualist called Spiritual Father has confessed to all the bad things that happens in Michael Essien’s life.

In an interview with Elavanyo on Vibe 5 TV, the juju man insisted that Essien failed to show appreciation for all the good things he did for him and that resulted in his predicaments.

” I’m a very simple but wicked spiritualist. Anytime I help you, I expect you to bring my thanksgiving. I helped Michael Essien to succeed in his football career,” the spiritual man said.

The spiritual man was asked to be circumspect and mention what exactly he did you do for Michael Essien.

“Adebayor brought Michael Essien to me as a fresh Spiritual client. I did everything to let him succeed in his football business. Essien promised to build a house for me in Accra which he lied about ” the Spiritual man answered.

“Essien’s conduct angered myself and my gods so we wiped his name from famous football people. He came to me for football juju. Let me me be specific.

“He can come and doubt me if I’m lying. I throw that challenge to Michael Essien,” he added.

The spiritualist further added that he handles over 200 pastors whom he fortify to make miracles.

Essien started his career playing for Liberty Professionals in Ghana. In 2000, he moved to France to join Bastia, where he would spend three seasons and appear in over 60 matches before joining Ligue 1 title holders Lyon in 2003. At Lyon, Essien won back-to-back league titles in 2003–04 and 2004–05, and won Ligue 1 Player of the Year in 2005.

During his five-year stint in France, he acquired French citizenship. In 2005, Essien signed with Premier League side Chelsea for a £24.4 million transfer fee and, at the time of his signing, was the most expensive African footballer in history.

At Chelsea, Essien helped the club win the Premier League in 2006 and 2010, as well as three FA Cups and one League Cup. He won the UEFA Champions League in 2012,[6] while also placing as runner up in the 2008 UEFA Champions League. He has won the Chelsea Goal of the Season award twice, in the 2006–07 and 2008–09 seasons.

Essien is a former Ghanaian international. At youth level, he represented his country at the 1999 FIFA U-17 World Championship and 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship, with the latter team finishing as runner-up. Essien made his senior team debut in January 2002 and has represented his nation at three Africa Cup of Nations tournaments. Essien has also represented Ghana at the 2006 and 2014 FIFA World Cups.

On 19 August 2020 it was revealed, that Essien was training with Danish Superliga club FC Nordsjælland where he also got the opportunity to be part of the work around the Superliga team and several of the club’s academy teams, just as he got a better knowledge of the teaching and development of young people off the field in FCN, as inspiration for his ongoing coaching education.

Nordsjælland is in partnership with Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, which was why Essien found the project interesting.

However, the club confirmed on 9 September 2020, that they had affiliated with Essien as part of the club’s coaching team for the 2020-2021 season.

He would thus be part of the coaching team in an assistant role at the same time, participating in the training sessions to implement the exercises in the best possible way and able to contribute with new input to the coaching team’s evaluations

European giants Germany have joined host nation Qatar and Denmark as the three countries to book their place in the 2022 Fifa World Cup to be staged in the summer of next year.
