The former Ghana youth international says the Phobians stand a better chance of winning the Super Clash this weekend
Former Ghana youth goalkeeper Ali Jaraah has insisted that Hearts of Oak will defeat Asante Kotoko in the first Super Clash of the season at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Phobians, after a poor start of the campaign, have picked two wins and a draw in their last three games as they hope to edge closer to their ambitions of winning the top-flight.
Kotoko, on the other hand, have recovered from their two defeats in a row by beating Ebusua Dwarfs 2-0 last weekend and would hope to add their bitterest rivals to their casualties.j
“I think Hearts of Oak are stronger than Asante Kotoko currently. This game willhowever be difficult for both teams but I think Hearts will finish off Kotoko on Sunday, ” Jaraah told Sir Martin on Ghana Sports Page 1.
“I watched Hearts in their game against Berekum Chelsea and in fact their performance wasn’t bad although they lost at home. I think although Hearts didn’t start the season well and Kotoko had a brighter start, the latter are struggling while Hearts are on the rise.
A win for either Hearts or Kotoko could see them moving into the Top four in their bid to lift the trophy.
