Hearts of Oak have officially announced the signing of former Liberty Professionals midfielder Frederick Ansah Botchway in an undisclosed deal.
The youngster was spotted at the Phobians’ secretariat last week sparking speculations in the local media and although the club was mute about his future, he has signed a deal after passing his medical on Saturday.
With Edward Odoom’s side struggling to score a goal in two Ghana Premier League matches, Botchway is expected to help create chances for the forward liners. He could make his debut for the Hearts on Sunday when they welcome Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium.
“Hearts of Oak is delighted to announce the signing of former Liberty Professionals FC midfielder, Frederick Ansah Botchway,” a statement read.
According to reports in the media, Hearts are still in the market for a deadly striker after negotiations with former Asante Kotoko star Amed ‘Simba’ Toure fell through.
