The shot-stopper has joined the Blues from their city rivals ahead of the new season
Berekum Chelsea have signed goalkeeper Yussif Moro from city rivals Berekum Arsenal in a three-year deal, ahead of the 2017-18 Ghana Premier League season.
The 25-year-old joined the former champions with a year left on his contract with Arsenal.
Although, Arsenal’s chairman Yakubu Moro had series of negotiations with the shot-stopper, he didn’t reach agreement with them and decided to move.
After the departure of John Moosie to newly promoted Techiman Eleven Wonders, Moro will have to shrug off competition from Gideon Ahenkorah for the starting role in the post.
Chelsea finished eighth last season after amassing 42 points.
