Ghanaian player Twum confirmed dead in Bangladesh

Ghanaian footballer Frank Twum has been confirmed dead in Bangladesh, according to some players in the country.

Twum, who was earlier arrested in the country this year for possessing a drug suspected to be Yaba tablet containing caffeine and methamphetamine, a banned drug in the country was initially put in prison together with Richard Appiah, and the duo were waiting for their trial in June.

According to reports, Twum previously had stints with Tema Youth although the club has denied such claims in the past.

He is reported to have also had stints with Hearts of Oak and Berekum Chelsea in Ghana Premier League before leaving the shores of the country for greener pastures a couple of years ago.
