The In Sha Allah Boys woes continue as they failed to record their first win of the campaign after six games
King Faisal once again failed to impress at home as they shared the spoils 1-1 with Elmina Sharks in Ghana Premier League matchday six at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Saturday.
After a pulsating encounter within the opening 15 minutes, Faisal bossed the midfield and began to cause troubles to the visitors’ defence.
By the 18th minute, Faisal’s Ibrahim Osman had a chance to put his side in front but his effort was blocked by the defender Samuel Arthur.
Sharks responded two minutes later as a pass found Benjamin Tweneboah but Moro Ibrahim did well to block the last ditch effort of the midfielder.
After the break, Faisal pushed men forward in search of the opening goal. Eventually, it paid off by the 55th minute as Kwame Peprah connected a cross from Ibrahim Osman to score his second goal of the season.
However, with fifteen minutes left on the clock, substitute Alhaji Mustapha restored parity for the visitors following a miscommunication by Faisal’s defence.
Although, Faisal doubled their efforts in search of another goal to record their first win of the season, Sharks were resolute at the back and held on to record a deserving draw.
