Ghana FA president Okraku’s father dies at age 96

The man who born and raised an astute football administrator has finally bid the world farewell after close to ten decades of existence

Father of Ghana Football Association president Kurt Okraku has been confirmed dead on Sunday, AshesGyamera.com understands.

Mr. George Offei Okraku, who is affectionately called by close relatives as Decide, kicked the bucket during the late hours of Sunday in Accra after battling illness for a couple of months.

The 96-year-old had lived a life worth emulated as a lot of people believe he was a decent, well-mannered and open hearted man.

Ghana FA president Okraku penned an emotional message following the hearing of the demise of his father.

“DECIDE!!!
So finally u decided to answer the call to go back to your maker. Thank you for teaching us to be grateful at all times,” Okraku wrote on Facebook.

“Tonight, I want to tell you how grateful I am for all that you shared with us whilst on earth…Thank you , thank you thank you….
Dad, Rest in Peace….
Love you,” he added.
