The football association’s spokesman has debunked suggestions that members are living in fears following a hint that they’ve been allegedly caught in corrupt practices
Ghana Football Association communication director, Ibrahim Saanie Daara, has insisted that they are not worried despite reports in the local media that ace investigate journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has finally caught some members on camera engaging in corrupt and fraudulent practices.
Anas, who previously did some investigative jobs concerning the judicial system of the country, has hinted that his latest work will specifically be on football and politics but Saanie says they do not fear any expose since they have always been clean in their dealings.
“There is nothing to fear about the Anas exposè. Is Anas Aremeyaw Anas kakai or what? Same noise was made about a certain EOCO and Commission of Inquiry in the past but we had no bruises from those operations and inquiries because we are clean,” Saanie told Fox FM.
“He should come with his findings and everyone who has something should bring it because we’ll examine them. They say because of Anas my voice is low, let me raise it higher for them to see.
“I have been caught by the Ramadan fever and not Anas fever which doesn’t even exist that’s why I’m quite nowadays,” he added.
Anas and his Tiger Eye PI’s latest work has been titled ‘Number 12’ and will be premiered at the International Conference Centre in Accra on June 6 and 7, before it is shown in other regions in including Kumasi (Ashanti region) later on.
According to AshesGyamera‘s sources, the tickets for the premiering have received massive demands as majority of Ghanaians are patiently waiting to see the perceived corruption in the sports fraternity.
