GFA president Kurt Okraku pays courtesy call on Ghana president Akufo-Addo

The newly sworn in football chief went to the seat of government to visit and talk about the progress of the sport with the first gentleman of the land

Ghana FA president Kurt Okraku paid a courtesy call to Ghana president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Wednesday.

The newly elected football boss was in the company of Youth and Sports minister Isaac Asiamah, Vision FC boss Michael Osekre and Dreams FC management member Ameenu Shardow.

Others also present included special aide to the Youth and Sports minister, Kofi Asare Brako ‘Abatay’, who formerly worked with Despite and Multimedia Group of Companies.

According to AshesGyamera.com’s sources, Akufo-Addo pledged his support for the new GFA administration led by Okraku and also advised him on several issues including how to deal with corruption since that mainly brought to the abrupt end of the previous administration under embattled Kwesi Nyantakyi.

Okraku, who defeated George Afriyie in the run to become the new face of the football Association, is expected to reign between now and 2023 before new elections will be held.
