The Mauritanian giants have named a new coach to lead them as they plot the downfall of the Porcupine Warriors
Asante Kotoko opponent in Caf Champions League FC Nouadhibou have appointed Amir Abdo as the club’s new head coach ahead of the CAF Champions League preliminary fixture with the Ghanaian club.
Nouadhibou parted ways with their former boss not too long ago and saw the need to hire Abdo who is a native of Comoros Island.
The experienced gaffer has put pen to paper in a two-year deal and his first assignment is to help eliminate Kotoko from the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu will be having different ideas as his survival at the club mainly determines this game since he has failed to pick a win after two games in the Ghana Premier League.
Kotoko, who will be without several first team players including goalkeepers Felix Annan and Razak Abalora as well as Habib Mohammed, will leave the shores of Ghana on Wednesday for the first leg which has been slated for November 27, 2020 before the return fixture takes place at the Accra Sports Stadium five days later.
