The forward left it late to snatch all the points for Spezia to brief life back into their relegation battle
Ghana forward Emmanuel Gyasi was on target when Spezia Calcio defeated Venezia 1-0 in Serie A on Saturday.
After both sides failing to make use of the half chances that came their way in the first half, Spezia doubled their performance after the break.
However, chances were still on the premium but Venezia hit the woodwork by the 55th minute.
Deep in additional time, Gyasi snatched the all-important goal for Spezia as they went on to record their first victory in a month.
Gyasi lasted the entire duration of the game and had 32 touches of the ball.
He had 76 per cent of accurate passes and won one duel out of the eight he went in for.
Also, he committed two fouls and three offsides as well as lost possession eight times in the game.
The victory means that Spezia Calcio have now moved up to 14th on the log with 32 points, ten points above safety with eight matches remaining.
