The 25-year-old latched on to a pass from Matteo Ricci, kept his composure in the box and sent a powerful shot to beat goalkeeper Alessandro Micai at the his first post.
Substitute Lamin Jallow got a consolation for the visitors but it was too late to stage a come back.
“Of course I’m happy to have gotten the winner for my side. It was my first goal of the season and it came at the right time,” Gyasi said.
“Now we are on break but I will continue to work hard and hope that 2020 will bring a lot of goals and wins for us to at least push of a playoff slot.
“We can still qualify so I will do my best for the team next year and I know my teammates have almost the same mentality as mine,” he added.
Sepzia who face Cittadella after new year, sit 12th on log with 24 points, three points below playoff qualification position but a win in that game can change their fortunes.
