The businessman has been voted as the new president of the association on the continent
Ghana Paralympic Committee chairman Samson El Deen has been voted as the new president of African Paralympic Committee on Sunday in Morocco, AshesGyamera.com can confirm.
Deen amassed 24 votes from the total 41 votes available as his contenders shared the remaining votes among themselves.
There were 38 delegates from various Africa countries who were housed at at the plush Rabat Hotel in Rabat, Morocco while three delegates who did proxy voting online.
Deputy Youth and Sports minister Hon. Evans Opoku Bobbie together with ace broadcaster Dan Kwaku Yeboah were around to offer support to Deen for him to emerge victorious.
Deen was recently selected as a board member of National Sports Authority by Ghana government.
