Awako cannot succeed at Hearts; he should think twice, says Gyan

The man of God has insisted that the midfielder isn’t favoured to don the Phobians jersey and it would be better for him to quit the club

Hearts of Oak midfielder Gladson Awako has been given a strong warning by prophet Seer Kwaku Gyan to mutually terminate his contract with the club in order to save his life and career.

The 30-year-old signed a two-year contract with the Phobians from city rivals Great Olympics just four weeks ago but he was reported to have fled their camp before the Caf Champions League preliminary round fixture against CI Kamsar of Guinea.

Although, Hearts won 2-0 thanks to late goals from Kofi Kordzi and Salim Adams, it was later revealed that Awako left the camp due to spiritual attacks he has been having during the night.

“Awako is wearing jersey number 14 at Hearts of Oak after he joined the club. He’s not favoured to succeed to Hearts of Oak,” Seer Gyan told Asempa FM.

“He can do very well and make name for himself at other clubs but not at Hearts of Oak. This is so because things will not work for him.

“He should know this and then decide what best he can do for his career as a footballer and life as a human being,” he added.

Awako previously had stints with Congolese giants T.P Mazembe and was even part of the squad that won Caf Champions League in 2013.
