The Phobians shot-stopper is expected to man the post when Black Stars play Nigeria in the Cliffhanger encounter later this month
Hearts Of Oak goalkeeper Richard Attah has gained a call-up to the Black Stars camp ahead of Ghana’s Fifa World Cup playoffs against Nigeria later in March.
The Black Stars will play host to Nigeria at the Cape Coast Stadium on Friday, March 25 before they travel to Nigeria for the second leg three day later
Attah is yet to get his chances at the senior national team despite earning call-up in recent months after a great performances in goal for his club.
He was first handed a Black Stars call-up under former coach CK Akonnor but is yet to make his debut.
The Hearts goalie was the only local-based shot stopper to be included in the Ghana squad for the 33rd edition of the African Cup of Nations tournament held in Cameroon last month.
The former Elmina Sharks goalie played a key role for Phobians and won both the Premier League and FA Cup titles at the end of last season.
AshesGyamera.com understand that Asante Kotoko midfielders Mudasiru Salifu and Richmond Lamptey, Bechem United forward Augustine Okrah and Aduana Stars striker Bright Agyei are likely to be named in the team by interim coach Otto Addo.
