The Phobians failed to close in on their rivals in the title chase as Kotoko are now one point away from winning the Premier League title
Hearts of Oak shared the spoils 1-1 with Karela United on matchday 31 of Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.
Benjamin Yorke have Hearts the lead on the stroke of half time with a fine finish after a wonderful cross from Sulley Muntari.
The youngster calmly controlled the ball and although the were defenders onrushing him, he kept his cool and sent in a powerful shot beyond the reach of Karela goalkeeper.
After the break, Hearts saw a shot from Muntari blocked and another effort from Yorke was thwarted.
Emmanuel Owusu Boakye drew level for Karela with six minutes remaining following a poor defending from Hearts.
Hearts now have 48 points and occupy fourth position while their rivals Asante Kotoko top the log with 59 points.
Kotoko now need just a point from their four remaining games to win the Premier League title.
