Hearts of Oak midfielder Winful Cobbinah completed his training with Danish side Viborg FF on Tuesday, confirming reports that he is on his way out of the Ghanaian club.
Cobbinah joined Hearts mid-season in the previous campaign and although, the Phobians failed to win any trophy after finishing fourth in the league and losing in the FA Cup final to fierce rivals Asante Kotoko, the midfielder’s overall performance did not go unnoticed.
He caught the eye of Viborg’s scouts in Africa and he is expected to be officially unveiled to the club’s supporters.
Cobbinah, who was part of the Black Stars B side that won the Wafu Cup of Nations last year, has been handed jersey number 18 and AshesGyamera understands that he will sign a two-and-half-year contract in a deal worth around £75,000.
