The youngster has had a wonderful campaign in the World Cup and believes they will overcome Uruguay to makenitbout of their group
Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus believes the Black Stars will defeat Uruguay in the last game of Group H to make it to round 16 of 2022 Fifa World Cup ongoing in Qatar.
The Ajax Amsterdam prodigy scored twice when Ghana pipped South Korea 3-2 but they would need to win against Uruguay or at least avoid a defeat to stand a chance of making it out of their group.
“We got the three points today and the focus is on Uruguay,” Kudus said after being name Man of the Match against South Korea.
“So we go in the game against Uruguay with the same mentality and the same attitude. I know everyone is up for it,” he added.
Kudus has now become the first Ghanaian player to score a brace at the World Cup and he is three goals behind legendary Asamoah Gyan and Roger Milla who boasts of five goals each as Africa’s highest goal scoring players at the tournament.
The West African giants are hoping to make it a third time after failing to go past the group stage in 2014 in Brazil.
