The Black Queens forward has shot to fame globally after her world class goal was nominated by Fifa for the Puskas Award

Ghana and Supreme Ladies FC striker Sandra Owusu-Ansah’s goal against Kumasi Sports Academy has been nominated for the 2021 FIFA Puskas Award as the list was released on Monday afternoon.

With Supreme Ladies down by a lone goal, Owusu-Ansah’s long range volley from almost 30 yards beat goalkeeper and hit the underside of the post in the Women’s Premier League in May.

The Supreme Ladies forward will have to shrug off competitions for Tottenham Hotspur’s Erik Lamela as well as Manchester City’s Riyad Mahrez.
