Stade Reims goalkeeper begs Messi for photograph with his son on Ligue 1 debut

The Argentine after receiving a standing ovation even from the opposition fans as he marked his debut gave the Reims’ goalkeeper something to remember him for even in years to come

Stade Reims goalkeeper Pedrag Rajkovic had his request to have a picture of his son and Lionel Messi accepted when they played PSG in Ligue 1 over the weekend.

Messi, 34, marked his debut for PSG when they defeated Reims 2-0 thanks to a brace by Kylian Mbappe who is on the radar of La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Messi was brought on by the 66th minute to replace Neymar Jnr and the Argentine was welcomed on to the pitch perfect with a standing ovation from every single person in the stadium.

After the game, a lot of players went to Messi to have picture with him and Reims goalkeeper Rajkovoc took it to a little further by taking his young son from his wife in the stands and quickly went to Messi to request for a photo.

Few minutes later, Rakjovic’s wife Ana posted the picture on instagram and thanked Messi for his kind gesture as he made the family happy.

Messi joined PSG a fortnight ago from Barcelona as a free agent and would be playing in France for the next year’s since his contract runs until 2023.

Messi marks his debut after replacing Neymar

It is even believed he may probably extend his stay when his contract expires despite rumors that he may go back to Argentina to play for his boyhood club before he retires from club and international football.
