Six players report to Black Stars camp as Ghana prepare to face Nigeria

The Black Stars have began their fine tuning ahead of the first leg of the Fifa World Cup playoffs

Ahead of the cliffhanger encounter between Ghana and Nigeria in the 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifiers, six players have arrived at the team’s temporal hotel in Accra to begin preparations.

Swindon Town goalkeeper Joojo Wollacott who played all games at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations held in Cameroon is in town.

Also, Hearts of defender Dennis Korsah who was given a late call up to replace Reading left back Abdul Baba Rahman has joined the other players.

Moreover, AshesGyamera.com understand that Reading defender Andy Yiadom, Richmond Boakye Yiadom, Columbus Crew midfielder Yaw Yeboah and Sheriff Tiraspol midfielder Edmond Addo are currently in camp.

The team is expected to fly to Kumasi on Tuesday afternoon to continue with the fine tuning before the game on Friday.

The other players are expected in the country latest by Tuesday.

Ghana will travel to Abuja next week for the return leg.
