The Serbian coach has alerted the football association to furnish him with video clips of the Black Stars opponents ahead of the last round of the qualifiers

Beleaguered Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has written to Ghana Football Association to provide him with video clips of games involving Nigeria at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations for tactical analysis, according to a report filed by journalist Kwame Mekke on Kessben FM.

The 68-year-old was widely speculated to have been sacked by Ghana last weekend following the Black Stars’ poor performance at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana were surprisingly knocked out of the competition in the group stage after losing to Morocco and Comoros as well as sharing the spoils with Gabon.

This elimination sparked a lot of public outcry as many Ghanaians believe the coach is tactically bankrupt and should be sacked in order to save the Black Stars from further humiliation.

As a result, Ghana government through the ministry of Youth and Sports Mustapha Ussif held a crunch meeting with Ghana Football Association’s top hierarchy led by president Kurt Okraku on Friday in Accra to deliberate on the way forward of the national team.

It was later revealed that government wants Milovan Rajevac sacked but the football association is adamant to that stance since they believe it will jeopardize the country’s chances of making it to the 2022 Fifa World Cup holding in Qatar.

Milovan is currently in Ghana and still holds himself as the Black Stars coach since his camp believes Ghana FA are yet to hand over a sacking letter to him. He is at his hotel working on tactics and formations as well as deliberating on players who will fit into his plans.

Ghana have been paired with Nigeria, who were also knocked out of the Afcon in the round of 16 by Tunisia, in the final round of the qualifiers to be played in March. The winner after the two legs will automatically qualify to play in the World Cup.
