“Ghana FA is full of criminals,” agent hits hard after Jeffrey Schlupp misses World Cup final squad

The Eagles winger has had a wonderful season in Premier League but failed to make Ghana’s final squad to the World Cup

Agent of Crystal Palace midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp has hit out at Ghana Football Association president Kurt Okraku and head coach Otto Addo following his player’s inability to make the final squad for 2022 Fifa World Cup holding in Qatar.

Schlupp was initially named in a 55-provisional squad released last week by Ghana FA but he was unscrupulously left out when the final list of 26 players was sent to Fifa.

The decision has irked Schlupp’s agent Calvin Riches who believes there were a lot of underhand dealings which led to the snub of his player.

He has further warned the leadership of Ghana FA not to ever call his phone to discuss a possible future call up.

Ghana have been paired with Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay in Group H and will pay their first game against Portugal on November 24.

Annor Walker explains why Ghana FA isn’t sending him to 2022 Fifa World Cup

The Timbers boss has shed light on how he got his named omitted from the traveling contingent ahead of the upcoming Fifa World Cup

Black Galaxies and Samatex head coach Annor Walker has refuted claims that he was snubbed by Ghana FA after his name was surprisingly not part of the technical team that will represent the nation at 2022 Fifa World Cup to be staged in Qatar.

Four coaches including former Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak head coaches Prosper Ogum Narteh and Samuel Boadu respectively as well as Ibrahim Tanko and Ignatius Fosu have been selected to be in Qatar to enhance their knowledge.

The decision led to public backlash as many Ghanaians believe Annor Walker deserved one of the slots after leading the Black Galaxies to qualify to 2023 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) after Ghana missing out since 2014.

However, Walker has insisted that he will be extremely busy when the mundial starts that is why he would not join the Black Stars in Qatar.

“I was invited by GFA to be part of the four coaches going to World Cup but I declined the offer,” Walker told Oyerepa FM.

“This is because from November 20, when World Cup starts I will be busy in camp with Black Galaxies. We are preparing for the CHAN tournament scheduled to take place in January 2023 in Algeria.

“I will even travel outside Ghana within that period as well so we both agreed I can’t be part due to my national team engagement,” he added.

Ghana have been paired with Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay in Group H at the World Cup and will play Cristiano Ronaldo’s side on November 24 in the opening game of the group.
