The agent for the Porcupine Warriors striker appears to blame the head coach for sidelining his client despite being fit
Charles Kouadio, agent of Asante Kotoko striker Naby Keita, has launched a scathing attack on head coach Maxwell Konadu.
According to Kouadio, Keita has been passed fit after picking up a minor injury and always impress during training sessions but he has been sidelined and many at times don’t even make the matchday squad.
This season, Kwame Poku, Ibrahim Osman and Evans Adomako have been the preferred options by Konadu in both Ghana Premier League and Caf Champions League.
“Naby Keita is fit and not injured but the coach has decided not to use him,” Kouadio told Otec FM.
“For now, he is still part of the Kotoko team so anytime he is called upon to help, he will play wholeheartedly.
“No one is begging anybody to use him [Keita]. He is a good striker and I can boldly tell you that none of the Kotoko attackers is better him so the right thing must be done,” he added.
Kotoko will face Great Olympics on Wednesday in the outstanding league game at the Accra Sports Stadium before they face Al Hilal Omdurman in the Caf Champions League first round first leg fixture.
