Legon Cities FC could hijack Asante Kotoko’s plan to sign former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan ahead of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season, understands.

With barely three weeks before the season kicks off, Kotoko seem reluctant to cough out several bundles of dollars to entice Gyan despite the 34-year-old publicly ffirmed his interest to join them before be finally retires.

In effect, our sources have revealed that Gyan could be heading to Legon Cities following an interest expressed by the club’s owners as they seek to improve their squad and further increase their revenues off the field of play.
