The 1-1 stalemate away to Techiman Eleven Wonders proved to be the last straw for the Yellow and Mauve board, who have already lined up his successor

Young and hard-talking Ignatius Osei-Fosu has been sacked by Medeama after only three games in charge in Ghana Premier League, with the club’s top hierarchy set to announce his replacement.

Ignatius was appointed permanent successor to Yaw Acheampong and Yaw Preko in August, with Medeama offering him an initial three-year contract subject to renewal.

However, things went north after only three games in Ghana Premier League as Medeama are yet to pick a win.

As a result, that agreement has been terminated early despite the Yellow and Mauve picking up a point against Eleven Wonders last weekend, which leaves them with two points and seven points behind leaders Asante Kotoko on the league log.
