The Phobians are the new winners of the top-flight for the first time in twelve years
Hearts of Oak have been officially crowned the winners of 2020/21 Ghana Premier League with a game to spare despite sharing the spoils 1-1 with Liberty Professionals at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Following Asante Kotoko’s 2-1 away defeat to Bechem United, Hearts of Oak have won their first Ghana Premier League title since 2009 ahead of last round of matches since they now lead the log four points.
The Phobians, who have used over 20 coaches enroute to winning the title, including four different coaches this season, will play WAFA on final day at Sogakope.
Hearts under coach Samuel Boadu have played 17 games, winning eleven, losing twice and sharing the spoils four times.
