The Phobians trainer was awarded a land after helping the club to achieve double last season
Hearts of Oak goalkeeping coach Eric Amponsah has been gifted with a plot of land in Ahafo regional capital Goaso for helping the club to win double last season.
The Phobians after a poor start to the season, won Ghana Premier League by four points gap between them and rivals Hearts of Oak. They also defeated another Ashanti regional club AshantiGold in the final of the FA Cup on penalties to complete their first double in almost twenty years.
Amponsah presented his medals to the Omanhene of Goaso traditional area Nana Akwasi Bosompra at his Palace and he gifted him a plot of land for making the people of the area proud.
Nana Bosompra further advised Ghanaians, especially the youth, to always remain discipline and work hard whenever they are given the opportunity to serve in any capacity.
Hearts will represent Ghana in the 2021/22 Caf Champions League. They will face Guinean club CI Kamsar in the preliminary stage of the competition next month in Conakry before they play the return fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.
