The Phobians are expected to finalise their fine tuning by next two weeks before they travel to Guinea for the showdown
Hearts of Oak are still in their pre-season ahead of the Caf Champions League preliminary round fixture against CI Kamsar next month. The Phobians are expected to travel to Guinea on September 10 to face Kamsar two days later.
Although, initial reports suggested that Kamsar will host Hearts at their home venue but it has emerged that Caf did not approve it since it did not meet the required standard.
As a result, the game has been scheduled to take place in the country’s capital of Conakry. Kamsar on Saturday confirmed via the official Twitter page that they will host the Ghanaian champions.
Hearts of Oak will be hosted at the Stade Général Lansana Conté in Nongo, Conakry.
Again, the game is expected to kick off at exactly 4pm Ghana time and 16h00 GMT.
The return leg which will also take place at the Accra Sports Stadium a week later, has been scheduled for 3pm Ghana time and 15h00 GMT.
The winner after the two legs will lock horns with Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco in the first round in October for a place in the group stage.
Hearts last played in the competition in 2005 where they were bundled out by Tunisian giants Esperance who then had Ghana defender Harrison Afful in their squad.
Hearts unveiled their new signings including former Great Olympics captain Gladson Awako and Salim Adams from New Edubiase United on Tuesday.
