Ghana FA director of communications Tamimu Issah has officially resigned from his position after only three months into the new administration.

Tamimu, who has worked at the FA for almost fifteen years, made his intentions known to the General Secretary of the association via email and has sent back every property of the association in his disposal.

Tamimu penned down an emotional letter on his Facebook page Wednesday evening and it read:

“Dear friends,

I have just tendered in my letter of resignation to the General Secretary of the GFA via email. It has been 14 amazing years of committed service to the Ghana Football Association.”

The letter added: “Always give thanks to Allah in every situation in life. Alhamdulillah.”

Reports in local media suggest that Angel FM’s Saddick Adams AKA Sports Obama has been pencilled down to take over the vacant seat alongside Henry Asante Twum but the former seems uninterested.
