Ghana Football Association has announced the postponement of the Ghana Premier League matchday two fixture between Hearts of Oak and Ashanti Gold.
The game was originally schedule for Sunday, November 22 at the Accra Sports Stadium but it has been pushed to Tuesday, November 24.
“We wish to inform you that the above-mentioned fixture (Hearts of Oak vs. Ashanti Gold) has been rescheduled to Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 6:00pm at the Accra Sports Stadium,” a GFA statement read.
“By the copy of this correspondence, all stakeholders are to take note and act accordingly. Accept for compliance,” the statement added.
It will recalled that Hearts’ opening day game against Aduana Stars was called off hours to kick off after 34 members of the Phobians contingent including players like Abednego Tetteh were tested positive of COVID-19.
Hearts are hoping to win their first silverware since 2009 under interim coach Edward Nii Odoom.
