The Bono East Club could be handed a transfer ban as well as demotion to lower tier should they fail to meet the deadline handed them to pay their former player
Ghana Football Association’s disciplinary committee has slapped Techiman Eleven Wonders with a fine of GH₵5,000 cedis following their failure to pay former midfielder Abu Sule his combined signing-on fee and salaries of GH₵33,300 cedis.
It will be recalled that the disciplinary committee found Wonders guilty of illegally terminating the contract of Sule on June 2, and were given fourteen days to settle the midfielder.
However, the club failed to honour the ruling and defied the orders of the disciplinary committee. The disciplinary committee then sat on the matter again and has issued an enforcement ruling which gives Wonders up to August 13 to settle their debt or face transfer ban and demotion in the long run.
